Nesh Nikolic

Nesh Nikolic is a Clinical Psychologist based in Canberra whose skills are in helping people with personal, emotional, motivational and relationship problems. As well as being a registered psychologist who is trained in a number of therapy modes including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), he is also recognised by Medicare Australia as a qualified provider of specialist clinical psychology services.
Nesh holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS College of Clinical Psychologists and the Association for Contextual Behavioural Science.
Nesh has guest lectured at the University of Canberra and in November 2010 was one of only five speakers invited to present at the University of Western Sydney TEDx Event. He is passionate about people and this comes across in his non-judgemental approach towards others. Nesh also provides training to organisations working with mental health issues and has been involved in supporting professional athletes and sporting teams with achieving optimal performance.
Thenia Papantoniou

Thenia Papantoniou has been practicing as a psychologist since 2000. Thenia provides assessment, counselling and treatment for a wide range of emotional and behavioural issues for adults, adolescents, couples and families. She is dedicated to providing a high level of ethical and effective treatment to her clients guided by contemporary theory and evidenced-based interventions. Thenia can provide therapy and counselling for a range of problems, including:
• a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, psychosis etc.
• relationship issues, including marriage and family problems and interpersonal conflict
• work-related issues
• trauma
• financial issues
• behavioural problems, including weight control, anger management, gambling and other addictions, eating disorders etc
• life transition issues
• social/cultural issues.
Thenia utilises a number of treatment modalities tailored to meet the needs of the client, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, long term psychotherapy and Integrated Therapy.
Thenia is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society. She is eligible to provide Medicare rebates with an appropriate referral, and Health Fund Rebates where applicable.
Amit Pearce
Registered Psychologist

Amit has been working as a registered psychologist for the past 8 years. During this time, Amit has gained experience in a number of specialist areas within Mental Health ACT. Amit has also guest lectured on Child and Adolescent Psychopathology at the Canberra Hospital Paediatrics Ward and at the Department of Education.
Amit works at Strategic Psychology on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 5:30pm – 9:00pm. He will be working in a therapeutic capacity for a diverse range of clients including: children, adolescents, adults and older adults who are experiencing a wide range of personal, emotional and behavioural issues.
Amit is well versed in various therapeutic modalities including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) to meet the needs of clients. Amit takes a compassionate and non-judgemental approach in working with clients to assist them in moving towards their goals.
Amit also has a Medicare provider number for patients referred by a GP through the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative. Clients with a GP Mental Health Care Plan will be eligible to obtain a rebate from Medicare or their Health Funds, where applicable.
Belinda Hill
Registered Psychologist
BSocSc (Psych Hons), GDipPsych, BA, GDipEd, Assoc MAPS
Belinda is a practiced psychologist with experience working with adults and adolescents affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, family breakdown and stress. Her approach is based on tailoring therapy to meet the needs of her clients which she is able to achieve by using her experience and training in cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, grief and loss counseling and aspects of other therapies.
Belinda is particularly strong in maintaining best practice principles and prides herself on continually expanding her knowledge and skill base using the most recent and up to date psychological research. As such, Belinda always utilises focused psychological strategies and is particularly flavoured by a cognitive behavioural approach. Belinda is recognised and registered as a Medicare provider and is also an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
